Leading Australian property developer, Cbus Property, project, The Langston Epping topping out was celebrated at an exclusive event hosted by Cbus Property’s CEO, Adrian Pozzo, who was joined by Scott Hutchinson, Chairman of Hutchinson Builders, and City of Parramatta Lord Mayor, Councillor Bob Dwyer.
Leading Australian property developer, Cbus Property, has taken a major step towards completion of its highly anticipated residential mixed-use project The Langston in Epping. The project’s topping out was celebrated at an exclusive event hosted by Cbus Property’s CEO, Adrian Pozzo, who was joined by Scott Hutchinson, Chairman of Hutchinson Builders, and City of Parramatta Lord Mayor, Councillor Bob Dwyer.
The milestone signifies the completion of the uppermost floor of The Langston’s tallest structure, the 29-storey Langston Tower, by construction partner Hutchinson Builders, after which the final phase of construction will commence, including internal fit-out.
The Langston is a triple-tower residential apartment project located only 100m from Epping station, with Langston Tower to be flanked by two further towers of 24 and 19 storeys respectively.
Featuring 462 premium residential apartments, The Langston will be set within a beautifully landscaped 2,750sqm public plaza that adjoins a 2,100sqm mixed-use retail precinct including a supermarket, cafés, restaurants, and a number of other retail tenancies.
The event included the placement of a ceremonial magnolia tree atop Langston Tower, to mark the occasion in front of the gathered VIP guests, who enjoyed unrestricted views across Epping to the Sydney CBD.
Cbus Property’s Chief Executive Officer, Adrian Pozzo, said the milestone marks an important step in the revitalisation of the Epping Town Centre.
“To have the physical structure of The Langston completed is a major achievement for our entire project team – and we’re now focussed on pushing ahead into the final stages of the construction,” explained Mr Pozzo.
“We’ve been committed to developing this site for a number of years, so to reach this stage in the development is not only an exciting milestone for us, but also for the future face of Epping.
“The Langston is a major contributor to the Epping Town Centre, providing new housing opposite a major transport hub, as well as brand-new retail offerings and an extensive public domain that links pedestrians from the station through to the eastern side of the suburb.
“We’re very positive about the future of Epping and with the support of our construction partner Hutchinson Builders, we’re looking forward to delivering a key piece of that future later this year at The Langston.”
According to Gary Henighen, Senior Associate at Architectus, The Langston will be a distinctive landmark in Sydney’s north-west.
“The Langston will feature abundant amenity and premium features akin to that of inner-CBD residential projects,” said Mr Henighen.
“Architectus’ design thoughtfully responds to the changing market conditions, including the rapid growth of the region, links to the new metro line and increased expectations for apartment living following the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The Langston will provide residents with a luxurious, hotel-style experience and externally, the curvaceous form of the buildings maximises the spectacular 360-degree views over Sydney’s city skyline and the Blue Mountains.
“It’s been fantastic to work alongside the leading team at Cbus Property to bring their vision for the development to life, and the topping out of all three towers is a momentous milestone.”
Indeed, The Langston’s future residents are set to have access to a range of exceptional amenities, many of which are rarely found in north-west Sydney developments.
These include a Pool Deck with poolside cabanas, a Wellness Hub with gym and exercise spaces, and a Sky Lounge with terrace and private dining spaces, as well as lush, landscaped gardens, an on-site co-working space and many more ‘resident-only’ facilities.
Prices at The Langston start from just $580,000 for a one-bedroom apartment or $790,000 for a two-bedroom apartment, with construction currently expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
