The acquisition, finalised in late 2024, was led by Justin Brown, Abadeen’s Executive Chairman and Founder, alongside Aaron Arias, Head of Acquisitions.
Leading property developer Abadeen has acquired 34 Burran Avenue, Mosman for $18.5 million, marking a key milestone in its ongoing growth and investment in Sydney’s prestigious Lower North Shore.
The acquisition, finalised in late 2024, was led by Justin Brown, Abadeen’s Executive Chairman and Founder, alongside Aaron Arias, Head of Acquisitions.
This purchase highlights Abadeen’s commitment to delivering premium residential projects in Sydney’s most desirable locations. For Justin Brown, a Balmoral resident, the acquisition is particularly meaningful:
“Balmoral holds a special place in my heart. It’s a unique, family-oriented community with strong values and a close-knit atmosphere. This marks our fourth Mosman development within 12 months, further cementing our investment and commitment to this incredible part of Sydney,” Justin said.
With a reputation for blending luxury living with local character, Abadeen recognised Burran Avenue as a perfect addition to its portfolio of prestige developments.
“The opportunity to acquire such a rare site in Mosman was one we simply couldn’t pass up,” Justin added. “These apartments will feature house-like proportions and exceptional new designs that will set a benchmark for luxury living. We have appointed Platform Architects, led by Bridy Gough in Manly, to create what will be one of our finest projects yet.”
The site offers sweeping 180-degree views of Middle Harbour, the headlands and beyond. Positioned within Mosman’s most coveted enclave and with direct access to Balmoral Beach, the location provides future residents with a perfect balance of coastal tranquillity and easy access to Sydney’s CBD.
“New apartments in this area are few and far between,” Aaron Arias commented. “It’s incredibly rare to find a property like this, and it may be years before another comparable opportunity arises. The potential for oversized luxury residences here is unmatched.”
Local agent Brendan Warner from Raine & Horne Lower North Shore, who facilitated the transaction, echoed the significance of the acquisition:
“We knew this site would attract significant interest. With Abadeen’s strong track record and local expertise, we’re excited to see them take this project to new heights,” Brendan said.
Construction is expected to commence in mid-2026.
Abadeen’s acquisition of 34 Burran Avenue further reinforces its reputation for delivering thoughtfully designed, high-calibre developments that shape Sydney’s most prestigious neighbourhoods.
