On Saturday 5 October, from 10am - 12pm the rental curious are invited to Fitzroy & Co to see what a rental-only building is all about.
The perfect blend of right location, incredible building and friendly neighbours has arrived in Fitzroy North, with Build-To-Rent (BTR) platform Est’s first project now welcoming prospective renters who are looking to live their best life.
With only 94 apartments, the boutique building named Fitzroy & Co is set to reposition renting forever through its resident-first approach – and that includes holding a public shindig before people even move in!
On Saturday 5 October, the rental curious are invited to Fitzroy & Co to see what a rental-only building is all about, and how it is attracting the interest of diverse audiences who are looking for a quality place to call home – complemented by premium hotel-like amenity and service – without being weighed down by costs of home ownership.
Free for all to enjoy, Fitzroy & Co’s Open Day, located at 249 Queens Parade, will feature a range of fun and educational activities, including free yoga by leading equipment company, Technogym, which is fitting out the resident gym with the latest in fitness technology. Guests can also enjoy workshops and talks on sustainability by Energy Locals and informative cooking and styling sessions by Electrolux and GlobeWest.
Best of all, locals get a sticky beak into the much-hyped building, which has already drawn eyeballs with its giant mural ‘Convergence’, curated specially for Fitzroy & Co by First Nations artist Lisa Waup.
As the first official ‘Open House’ for Fitzroy & Co, tours are on offer for guests to explore the building from inside to out – including the impressive amenity spaces which include a co-working hub, cinema, gym, pet salon, retro record lounge and a jaw dropping rooftop area complete with outdoor kitchen facilities.
With interiors inspired by the local Fitzroy North context, curated by lauded Australian creative and stylist Emma Elizabeth (selected as one of 50 influential faces of Australian Now, celebrating Vogue Living’s 50thanniversary), common spaces feature a uniquely local influence – including vintage furniture and artwork produced by Australian and Indigenous artists. Prospective residents will also be able to discover a range of customisable apartment interior options on offer!
