The $1 billion, 40ha Armstrong Creek Town Centre opened in September last year. Developed by national company Wel.Co, it has just been sold to ASX-listed Home Consortium’s Daily Needs Trust for $55.6 million.
The Victorian government is planning for a new Armstrong Creek train station as part of its $160 million commitment to expand railway line connections in the area, while Geelong Council last week confirmed it would be spending an additional $47 million in the coming years in Armstrong Creek to allow for road upgrades and other critical infrastructure.
Luo said the high-profile land offers excellent exposure to over 23,000 vehicles each day along Barwon Heads Road, according to VicRoads, and is located just 10 minutes from Geelong’s thriving city centre, near the affluent coastal township of Barwon Heads and the rapidly expanding Torquay corridor.
