The Resort sits wihin the Ngu Hanh Son District, Danang in Vietnam.
Naman Retreat in Danang seamlessly blends timeless Vietnamese heritage and culture with luxurious modern charm. Impressive traditional bamboo architecture and exquisite interiors, combined with our authentic Vietnamese hospitality ensure a wonderful retreat experience. Principal architect Vo Trong Nghia used the primary concept of Naman Retreat to provide treatment for the bodies and minds of long-stay guests through a combination of nature-friendly environment and healthy activities such as spa, yoga, beach sports, and so on. To achieve an atmosphere that treats its guests to the utmost purification and relaxation of body and mind, the resort was designed using a mix of greenery, natural stone, and bamboo.
Over an area of three hectares, the design mission was to harmonise eighty bungalows, a hotel, six VIP villas, and twenty other villas. Two roads lead from the entrance to the seaside, thoroughly connecting every service area and bringing fresh sea breezes to the internal space. Trees are planted along the roads, with bamboo in particular forming closed canopies to offer privacy to guests. The central space is given priority with a larger area that has open spaces that house the lobby, restaurants, and bars.
The VIP beach villas located on the front seaside area were planned in a unique way. Each beach villa is covered with a continuously undulating green roof and bamboo textured wall, which encourages unbroken views of the sea. The Babylon hotel building is the tallest in the complex, and all three storeys are designed with louvres covering the facade. Bungalow clusters are smoothly and ingeniously combined with four other buildings that share a common courtyard, whilst housing a courtyard and a pool for each. Single-storey bungalows alternate with two-storey bungalows, creating an overall impression of the bobbing houses in the old quarters.
The central facilities including the Hay Hay Restaurant, beach bar, and conference hall were designed with bamboo structures to provide a relaxing experience for resort guests.
