Tweed Coast development site sold for $24 million in the region’s first major land deal for 2024. The 15,904sqm site at 4-8 Bells Boulevard sold for more than $1500 per square metre by LJ Hooker Kingscliff’s Nick Witheriff and CBRE’s Mark Witheriff.
One of the Tweed Coast’s premier development sites sold for $24 million in the region’s first major land deal for 2024.
The 15,904sqm site at 4-8 Bells Boulevard is the last undeveloped land site in Kingscliff’s Salt Village. Positioned adjacent to Salt’s Mantra and Peppers resorts in the heart of the beachside community, the property attracted local and international interest during the marketing campaign.
The sale price reflected more than $1500 per square metre for the development site which is zoned for residential, tourism and tourism support initiatives. Its zoning caters for four storeys and a maximum floor-to-space ratio of 2:1.
The site was marketed by LJ Hooker Kingscliff’s Nick Witheriff and CBRE’s Mark Witheriff.
Nick Witheriff said: “This site is the last major piece of the puzzle in Salt Village”.
“The Bells Boulevard site is right in the heart of Salt Village and is amongst the best undeveloped sites between Sydney and the Queensland border. The marketing campaign received interest that’s commensurate with its unique opportunity.
“The site is spoiled for amenity: there’s the Salt dining precinct on its doorstep and a 50m walk to Kingscliff’s surf beach.
“Gold Coast International Airport is a 20-minute drive away and the communities of Casuarina and Cabarita - which continue to attract significant demand post Covid - are all within a 10-minute drive.”
