National developer GURNER™ has secured its first Sydney office as part of its national expansion plans, signing a long-term lease at 7-13 Elizabeth Street in Paddington NSW – the former office of PR identity Roxy Jacenko.
The 380sqm building, which can accommodate up to 40 people, will underpin the developer’s rapid growth in NSW: with a growing pipeline across the state, GURNER™ is aiming to match the size of its Melbourne team (65 people) within the short to medium term, starting with this first office location in Paddington.
"Sydney is an incredible city and we are looking forward to expanding our presence here – this is a prime location that will enable us to continue delivering bold, innovative, industry-leading projects across various asset classes to one of our most important markets,” GURNER™ CEO and founder Tim Gurner said.
'We have quickly mobilised a team of seven locally already and our plan is to have a team of a similar size to our Melbourne headquarters within the next 1 – 2 years,” he said.
GURNER™’s landmark project in Sydney is a $450m build-to-rent site in Parramatta, that it is developing alongside Qualitas, at 12 Hassall Street, with a further project in planning in Gardeners Road, Alexandria.
