Waterloo’s newest residential development will soon be home to a new retail precinct offering a cat café, a dog grooming salon and mix of dining outlets, Crown Group has announced.
The opening of a Parasol supermarket last week is the first of twelve new outlets to be rolled out as part of a retail and dining precinct within the Waterfall by Crown Group development in the Sydney suburb of Waterloo.
The $400 million residential project, which opened earlier this year, includes 331 luxury apartments, as well as Australia’s tallest man-made waterfall.
Crown Group Chairman and Group CEO Iwan Sunito said the space would now break new ground with its retail offering, developed as part of his vision to build a $1 billion retail portfolio around the world.

“This new retail precinct will create a lot of excitement amongst residents of Waterfall and it will draw in people from the surrounding area, adding a sense of community and a unique offering,” he said.
“We have curated the retail mix to create a sense of community and 12 grocery, lifestyle and food and drink offerings including Moo Yoghurt, Just Fried Chicken and Eclat Patisserie and DJ Hair Artistry.
"Asian supermarket Parasol Tree is already open and residents will be very excited when Baby Pet Studio for dogs and Yumiao the cat café open later this year.

“This will further increase the appeal of living at Waterfall for young professionals and families who love the quality of life here, being so close to the city and great schools and universities.”
Residents already have access to Crown Group’s signature resort-style facilities including an infinity-edged rooftop pool and terrace, a cantilevered gym, rooftop outdoor cinema, function room with a catering kitchen and a music room with a grand piano.
A children’s play area offers play equipment including a game of giant noughts and crosses.
Waterfall by Crown Group offers a collection of premium apartments including studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, courtyard apartments and a double-storey penthouse.
