The Urban Development Institute of Australia has held their virtual awards 2020 and we will be sharing the winners of each category. Today we congratulate Carmelite by Southern Cross Care (SA&NT). The Seniors' Living Award is sponsored by Calibre Group.
Carmelite by Southern Cross Care (SA&NT) has taken out the Seniors Living Award in the UDIA Wingate National Awards for Excellence.
Carmelite’s design of a 5 level, vertically integrated retirement living and a residential aged care facility has allowed Southern Cross to follow an ‘Aging in Place’ philosophy.
Co-located with significant heritage buildings, the result is a striking monumental form, segmented by selected stone facing, contrasted by a dark colour palette.
Well done!
