The Urban Development Institute of Australia has held their virtual awards 2020 and over the month we will be sharing the winners of each category. Today we congratulate Parkville by Oliver Hume in Melbourne. The Small Scale Development Award was sponsored by Solido Development Finance.
Parkville by Oliver Hume has scooped up the Small Scale Development Award in the 2020 UDIA Wingate National Awards for Excellence.
This inner city Melbourne project illustrates the positive impact a Small Scale project can have in transforming an existing character area.

The developer’s passion for this project is clearly evident by the high-quality aesthetic of the 20 five-storey homes, which accurately pay homage to the Victorian terraces unique to the area.
The creation of a new private laneway comprising natural timbers and stone also successfully connect the project to the local neighbourhood.
Congratulations Oliver Hume!
