Mirvac Queensland General Manager Warwick Bible has taken over from Ian Murray as the President of UDIA Queensland.
The Queensland branch of the Urban Development Institute of Australia has welcomed a new leader, with Mirvac's Warwick Bible taking over from Ian Murray as President.
As the General Manager of Mirvac Queensland, Mr Bible is responsible for Mirvac’s residential development operations including its apartments and master-planned communities portfolio throughout the state.
He has more than 20 years’ property experience in Queensland and New South Wales, including senior property executive roles with several of Australia’s largest private and public property companies.
Mr Bible told WILLIAMS MEDIA he was looking forward to building on the progress made by his predecessor,
"The UDIA is in a strong position thanks to the ongoing support and commitment of our members, and the experience of the UDIA team," he said.
"We are a resilient and adaptable industry, so it is critical we remain connected as an industry, and I look forward to leading the Institute as we navigate the challenges of this COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the opportunities that will emerge.”
Mr Bible is currently the Vice President of the Institute and holds formal qualifications in property economics, an MBA, and is a Fellow of FINSIA.
Institute CEO Kirsty Chessher-Brown said he was well qualified to lead the institute through its "realisation of the strategic plan and provide important leadership for the industry in a challenging time".
