Real estate company Lendlease and architect Renzo Piano are once again collaborating to create a new landmark in the much anticipated One Sydney Harbour.
Pritzker Prize winning architect Renzo Piano, whose previous works include architectural marvels across the world, will leave his unique style on the final phase of Barangaroo South.
One Sydney Harbour is the much-anticipated final piece of Lendlease's overall waterfront, commercial, restaurant and retail precinct of Barangaroo South.
According to Lendlease's Group CEO Steve McCann, Renzo has brought his delicate and refined approach to create residences inspired by the shimmering light and sparkling water that defines the Sydney landscape.
"To live in One Sydney Harbour is to experience living in the air, in light, a feeling of being suspended between the water and the sky, all the while being connected to one of Sydney’s thriving new destinations below," said Mr McCann.
Piano's architectural design includes several unique treatments to emulate the facets of a crystal.
Each tower portrays a different level of reflectivity at different times of the day, responding one to the other and refracting the colours of Sydney's sky and harbour like crystals.
“One Sydney Harbour aims to set a new standard in apartment living globally with its design, quality and location," said Mr McCann.
"It is the last piece of the transformation of this incredible waterfront precinct, Barangaroo.
"As one of our most luxurious developments anywhere in the world, it’s going to have broad international appeal and it will be an iconic addition to Sydney’s skyline.”
