Nearly half of the apartments already sold with most buyers hailing from within 30 kilometres of the project.
Luxury living in the Sunshine Coast’s growing health precinct is getting snapped up fast as Cube Developments officially turned the sod on the $37 million Curve Birtinya apartments.
Curve Birtinya is in the heart of the Oceanside Health Hub, within walking distance to the $1.8 billion Sunshine Coast University Hospital and University Private Hospital and minutes away from the developing Kawana Town Centre.

When complete, the development will include 55 apartments across seven storeys, a private pontoon, resident’s gym, Pilates studio, pool, spa and sauna.
Apartments are priced from $399,000 for two bedrooms up to $765,000 for four bedrooms.
Cube Development’s Director Scott Juniper said there had been an overwhelming amount of interest in this project with buyers eager to purchase off the plan to secure their place in one of the first luxury living apartments to be built within the precinct.
“We have a lot of interest from buyers who are looking to downsize but don’t want to compromise on lifestyle and quality,” Juniper said.
“We have families, first homeowners and people over the age of 50 showing interest and we know these buyers want to make the apartments their home as 90 per cent are owner-occupiers.
“Sunshine Coast locals are some of our biggest supporters and are jumping at the chance to reinvest in their region with most buyers hailing from within 30 kilometres of the project.”
Juniper along with Stockland’s Mark McMahon, Sunshine Coast Councillor Jason O’Pray and project builder Michael Crocker from National Construction Management marked the start on construction for the multi-million-dollar project.
“Stockland has really seen a vision for this health precinct and to see how far it has come in such a short time is really exciting, so we knew we wanted to be a part of it,” said Juniper.
“We believe there needs to be diversity with a range of single unit dwellings and luxury apartment living and that’s what we wanted to deliver.
“Birtinya is becoming the suburb where you can work and play with just a short stroll to the beach — it really encompasses that relaxed Sunshine Coast lifestyle.”
National Construction Management Business Development Manager Michael Crocker said projects like this are good news stories for the local construction industry with 65 workers expected to be on site during peak times.
“Not only is this great for confidence in the industry with an estimated $17 million injected back into the local economy, but it also exciting to work on a unique design that is outside the box,” said Crocker.
There are 32 apartments left for sale starting from $399,000 in the seven-storey building which includes one penthouse from $765,000.
The Curve Birtinya is expected to be completed March 2021, with residents moving in soon after.
