Civil construction has recommenced at Resimax Group’s Eynesbury development with 175 new lots underway with work on the $700 million development currently focused on stages 4 and 11 with their anticipated settlement set for 2020.

The development, located 40 kilometres west of Melbourne’s CBD, includes a broad range of existing and future amenities making it attractive to first home buyers to families and retirees.

Callan Ainsaar, Project Director of the Eynesbury development, said the central proximity to Geelong, Ballarat, and Melbourne makes Eynesbury attractive to potential buyers.

He said the huge scope of the project had the potential to make it one of the most exciting developments in Australia in terms of scale and end-use.

“There’s already an established community at Eynesbury and the new stages have numerous features to excite new residents interested in the area and Stage 11 includes an 8,000sqm park and is adjacent to a waterway corridor,” he said.

“We’ve been working in the background planning road infrastructure, refreshing and maintaining existing amenities, as well as planning new ones, and engaging the state government on the delivery of a new primary school and active open space within the development.”

The new stages currently in progress are situated to the north and south of the the future town centre.

More than merely a land estate, Eynesbury boasts many unique features including one of Victoria’s largest Grey Box forests, beautifully restored heritage buildings, an 18-hole golf course and will soon see the development of a new school and sporting facilities.

 Earlier this year the state and federal governments, local councils and sporting groups joined forces to invest about $9 million to build a new sporting and recreation precinct at Eynesbury.
