Eastlakes development includes plans for medical centre, childcare, sophisticated retail precinct and co-working space.
Crown Group has created a vision for its Eastlakes Live project that could allow multiple generations of families to live together in an exciting future-designed community.
Designed to cater to all age groups and centred on a sophisticated new retail precinct, the development may include a 24-hour medical centre, a childcare centre, co-working space, community library, specialty food and retail, chemist, supermarkets and dining outlets.

Crown Group Chairman and Group CEO Iwan Sunito said that although the new concept for living in Sydney’s east was in an early ideation phase, it would address the growing need for communities where people can have convenient access to childcare and live close to their ageing parents.
“We as architects need to do more than just create buildings and homes,” Mr Sunito said.
“We are creating better places for people to live and interact - redesigning society, so to speak, so our residents can be happier in life.
“What we found is that in Sydney there are no developers addressing the need for 24-hour medical care, which is critical to people as they age and to those with small children.
“Home buyers today need a place where security, shopping and medical care is at the fore and that is a concept we are considering for Eastlakes. We are also looking at the possibility of dedicating one residential tower to long-term leasing.”
Construction began on Stage One of Eastlakes Live by Crown Group in October 2018 and is expected to be completed in early 2021.
It will comprise three buildings on the north side of the development with a total of 133 spacious one, two and three-bedroom apartments including four luxurious penthouses.
It will also have a 2800 square metre retail area below, offering 12 outlets including two new supermarkets with produce reflecting the cultural mix of the neighbourhood, a bakery, butcher and chemist.
Residents will have access to sophisticated resort-style health and fitness facilities including a 25m swimming pool and gym along with a a rooftop lounge, barbeque facilities, function room and landscaped gardens.
Modified plans for Eastlakes Live Stage Two are pending development approval and include 350 new apartments across five buildings and a concept for a new town centre, with a retail and restaurant precinct that includes a full-line supermarket and a new eat street offering various restaurant and dining options.
Construction is expected to start once Stage One is complete and to be finalised in stages in 2023.
Apartments are for sale from $680,000 to $1,755,000 and the display centre is open daily from 10am to 4pm at 19a Evans Avenue, Eastlakes.
