Private developer Riverlee has announced a new commercial tower adjacent to Burnley Station in Richmond.
The growing number of businesses relocating to Richmond will soon be given a new green office option following the announcement of a commercial tower to be built on Swan Street.
Developed by Riverlee, in conjunction with Bamfa Properties, the project at 484 Swan Street is set to feature column-free and flexible office spaces, allowing fully customisable workspace design, as well as amenities and services across 13 levels, marking it the tallest building within its location.
The building is designed by architectural studio Techne, which is known for the recent refurbishment of the Hotel Esplanade.

Riverlee Development Director David Lee said the precinct's heavy emphasis on environmentally sustainable design and connectivity will make it suited to the new wave of socially-minded and environmentally-conscious companies.
“The 484 Swan Street project offers the chance to join a growing movement of businesses who are choosing to move into the Richmond and Cremorne area, to offer more imaginative, inspiring and progressive environments for their people,” he said.
With a total net lettable area of over 17,000 square metres of commercial office area, the building will include retail and bookable co-working spaces for overflow and over 1,500 square metres dedicated to terraces and greenery.
The inner-city fringe address has been designed to cater to the influx of new-age businesses scheduled to relocate to the area over the next two years as more companies seek to relocate from the CBD and suburbs to the amenity and lifestyle suburbs of Richmond and Cremorne.
Director of Savills Australia Office Leasing Phillip Cullity said 484 Swan Street set new standards for office design and efficiency.
“The tower provides everything in the form of smart building technology, column-free floors and amenity for the next generation of businesses," he said.
"Immediately adjoining Burnley Station, its easily accessible for staff and comes with 360-degree views designed to offer an enviable office work/life balance."
The 484 Swan Street project comes with its own pedestrian laneway directly linking Burnley Street Station, Swan Street tram lines and bicycle paths.
A new onsite laneway will feature curated food and beverage offerings.
The 484 Swan Street project is set to launch later this month and will be leased in conjunction by Cushman & Wakefield and Savills.
